　　中国学生在SSAT的数学部分表现优异，但在高度依赖英文水平的词汇和阅读部分面临着一些挑战，因此，提高英语水准是学生在SSAT考试中取得成功的关键。

　　垃圾分类有哪些译文说法？

　　garbage classification/garbage sorting/garbage segregation/waste sorting/waste segregation...

　　上海的生活垃圾主要分为有毒垃圾（Hazardous Waste）、可回收垃圾（Recyclable Waste）、湿垃圾（Household FoodWaste）、干垃圾（Residual Waste）四类

　　heap名词和动词用法，这里是名词，意思是a large untidy pile of things〔大而杂乱的〕堆:

　　比如•a rubbish heap=a rubbish dump垃圾堆

　　这里heaps of = piles of

　　in a heap

　　•The envelopes for posting lay in a heap on her desk.待寄信件杂乱地堆在她的书桌上。

　　Heaps of也可以表示大量的

　　•The children have heaps of energy.孩子们精力充沛。

　　作动词的用法就是heap sth with sth在某物上堆满某物;

　　•She gave him a glass of whisky and heaped his plate with food.她给他一杯威士忌，并给他的盘子盛满食物。

　　fill这个小词很好用的，这里是（使）充满;装满

　　比如•He poured her a drink, then filled his own glass.他给她倒了一杯，然后给自己的杯子斟满。

　　他眼里含着泪水，我们也可以这样说：•Her eyes filled with tears .她的双眼噙满了泪水

　　这个单词还有“挤满;占满:”的意思，比如 街上满是人群 就这样表达：•Crowds of well-wishersfilled the streets.街上到处都是祈愿的人群。

　　还有一个用法“〔声音、气味或光〕遍及;弥漫;照满:”一般用be filled with sth

　　比如•The air was filled with the sound of children's laughter.空气中充满着孩子们的笑声。

　　也可以表示“使充满〔某种感情比如恐惧，生气，敬佩等〕”be filled with horror / fear / anger / doubt / remorse比如我对她充满钦佩之情。我们可以这样说：•I was filled with admiration for her.我对她充满钦佩之情。

　　还有“打发，消磨〔时间〕”fill your time / the days etc (with sth)

　　How do you fill your day now that you've retired?

　　现在你已退休了,怎样打发你的日子？

　　还有“满足”的意思fill a need / demand

　　•Volunteers fill a real need for teachers in the Somali Republic.志愿者满足了索马里共和国对教师的迫切需求。

　　fill a gap / hole / niche etc

　　•I spent most of the summer filling the gaps in my education.这一年夏天我大部分时间在弥补自己学识上的欠缺。

　　垃圾箱有哪些表达？

　　dustbin=garbage can=litter bin( (街道上或公共建筑物里的)垃圾箱,废物箱)=trash can

　　对于这句话的翻译，先断句，然后再翻译，最后按照中文习惯调整语序，重读。

　　中文一般先说不重要的信息，重要的信息放在最后。

　　所以这句话的意思就出来了：在莫斯科南部郊区的一个仓库里，一堆堆的塑料瓶和包装盒塞满了垃圾箱，这些垃圾箱堆得触到仓库的天花板了。

　　At weekends //hundreds of people line up tooffloadcarefully sorted rubbish at Sobirator,// a non-profit centre, //one ofa handful ofrecycling sites in the Russian capital.　　

　　周末，成百上千的人在Sobirator(一家非营利性的垃圾回收中心)排起长队，卸下精心分类的垃圾。Sobirator是俄罗斯首都的少数几个垃圾回收站点之一。

　　line 'up 排成一行；站队；排队(等候)

　　offload这个词是to get rid of sth / sb that you do not need or want by passing it / them to sb else 把(担子等)转移(给别人)；减轻(负担)；卸(包袱):

　　offload sth onto sb

　　•The dealer had offloaded some of the shares onto a willing client.股票经纪人把其中一部分股票脱手给了一名乐意接盘的客户。

　　offload your worries / emotions / problems etc〔为减轻心理负担而〕倾诉忧虑/情感/难题等

　　比如Dalian Wanda offloads $1.2bn stake in films unit under pressure from Beijing

　　万达在压力之下继续“轻资产”

　　这里插入一个写作的句型（建议都背诵下来），介绍某一个公司：以万达为例

　　Dalian Wanda,the Chinese entertainment-to-properties conglomerate（同位语使用）, will sell a $1.2bn stake in its listed films unit to investors led by e-commerce group Alibaba, the latest in a string of divestments（转让股份）by the company over the past six months.

　　业务从娱乐到房地产的中国综合集团大连万达(Dalian Wanda)将把旗下上市电影公司的12亿美元股权出售给以电商集团阿里巴巴(Alibaba)为首的投资者，这是过去6个月该公司做出的一系列退出投资举措的最新一例。
