　　5.“感觉处于劣势，处境不利”：feel disadvantaged。“处于劣势”除了说“disadvantaged”，还可以说at a disadvantage。如金融时报上所说：This would not put them at a disadvantage; it would even the playing field. 这不会让它们处于劣势；这将让竞争更公平。在竞争中处于劣势就可以说，at a competitive disadvantage。

　　6.“promotion”在这里表示“晋升”。promotion有两层含义，一是指“推销，促销，推广”。如“advertising and promotion”，“广告和促销”；二是“晋升，提升，升职”之意。如经济学人上所说：The company systematically steered women into jobs with little hope of promotion and paid them less than men. 该公司从体制上将女性员工安排在几乎没有晋升希望的职位，而且薪资低于同岗位的男性员工。它的动词是promote，be/get promoted即“晋升，升职得到提升”。
