　　UKiset创意写作按照学生年龄段的不同，设置不同的写作题目。创意写作部分不会被评分，但是会与学生另外两部分成绩一起递交给学校，学校以此来评定学生的写作水平和英语语言运用能力。

　　如何写“匆匆一瞥”？

　　Montag和Clarisse两人并肩沉默着走回家，在路上，两人各怀心思：

　　They walked the rest of the way in silence, hers thoughtful, his a kind of clenching and uncomfortable silence in which heshot her accusing glances. 剩下的那段路他们一言不发，她若有所思地静静地走着，他则在局促不安的寂静中向她投去探究的目光。

　　句子的后半部分对前半句给予补充说明：her silence is a thoughtful silence, his silence is a kind of clenching and uncomfortable silence.

　　shoot a glance，意思为“匆匆瞥一眼”，动词部分除了用shoot，还可以用take/have。

　　例：

　　She shot him a sideways glance. 她从眼角瞥了他一眼。

　　She took a glance at the newspaper headlines at breakfast.

　　她在早餐时匆匆看了一眼新闻标题。

　　如何写“不知不觉”？

　　文中对Clarisse所拥有的令人难以置信的洞察力进行了描写：

　　He felt that if his eye itched, she might blink. And if the muscles of his jaws stretchedimperceptibly, she would yawn long before he would. 他倘若觉得他的眼睛有点痒，她就会眨眨眼。倘若他下颚的肌肉有不易察觉的抽动，她就会在他之前打起哈欠。

　　令人不易察觉的，可以用without anyone noticing这样的短语，作者在这里只用一个单词带出：imperceptibly。

　　例：Her attitude had changed imperceptibly. 她的态度不知不觉地发生了改变。

　　如何写“少许，一点”？

　　Montag回到家中，打开了卧室的门，卧室中的景象是这样的：

　　...Complete darkness, nota hint ofthe silver world outside, the windows tightly shut, the chamber a tomb-world where no sound from the great city could penetrate. 一团漆黑，没有一丝外面的银色世界的影子，窗户禁闭，像一个都市喧嚣无法穿透的墓穴。

　　the chamber a tomb-world where no sound from the great city could penetrate中where no sound from the great city could penetrate是修饰a tomb-world的定语从句，where相当于into which：no sound from the great city could penetrate into the tomb-world.

　　屋内看不到一丝的（被月光照亮的）银色世界的样子，“一丝”，作者用a hint of表达，再比如：

　　There was a hint of sadness in his voice. 他的声音里有一丝悲伤。

　　会了这个短语，你不需要再用a little, a bit啦！

　　如何写“倾盆大雨”？

　　Montag的妻子抢救结束后，窗外下起了雨, “The whole worldpouring down.”。

　　pour, 本意为“倾倒”，可用来指大雨倾盆而下。

　　例：The rain continued to pour down. 大雨哗哗地下着。

　　It’s pouring outside. 外面下着瓢泼大雨。
