　　词汇讲解:

　　本句是一个简单句，其中包括了not...any more than的结构。

　　avoid意为“避免;躲避”。如:

　　1) The boy avoided punishment by running away.那个男孩为了逃避惩罚逃跑了。

　　2) He is a fugitive from justice trying to avoid being caught by the police.他是个逃犯，正试图躲避警方的追捕。

　　shun的含义也是“避免;避开”。如:

　　His friends shunned him.他的朋友都躲着他。

　　英语考点归纳:

　　本句中的not...any more than为固定表达，表示“前者和后者一样都不……”。如:
