托福写作开头容易？不简单

　　托福独立写作中开门见山是我们常用的套路，那如何给出明确主旨（thesis）呢？由此，一些同学就直接开写：in my opinion, I agree with the statement that…这样的开头都是意思够了，但“韵味不足”。或是按部就班地按照开头模版的步骤，如题目引入、他人观点、己方观点、信息铺垫的顺序写，如题：

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement thatTV has destroyed communication among friends and family?

　　Ithas been heatedly debated thatwhether TV has destroyed communication among friends and family.(题目引入)

　　Someargues that the introduction of TV has definitely reduce the time for family members to communicate.(他人观点)

　　However, from my perspective, TV has played a positive role in the inter-relationship among friends and family.(己方观点)

　　Myreasons and examples are given below.(信息铺垫)

　　这样写呢，字数上比较合适（不会给后续主体段带来太多字数压力）。不过读起来比较生硬，像完成任务。

　　是不是可以在这个基础上增加一些特点和新意，给考官留下一些更好的观感呢？

　　当然是可以的！

　　我们可以在题目引入之前，增加一句或两句相关的背景信息，这样可以读起来更连贯，同时也更具有内容上的灵活性。

　　同一道题：

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement thatTV has destroyed communication among friends and family?

　　我们如果以电视作为突破口，背景句可以这么写：

　　In contemporary society, technology has become increasingly sophisticated, making TV programs more intriguing andfascinating than before.

　　当然，我们也可以选取communication作为引入方向：

　　As we all know, relationshipsaredeveloped and maintained by frequent communication.

　　甚至，friendsand family也已可以作为起始点：

　　Friends and family are two great sources of joy and encouragement. Thus, a proper amount of time should be assigned to them.

　　细心的同学已经发现，我们比较容易从题目中的名词提取出背景句：TV, communication, friends and family。

　　但是如果题目很难提取出合适的名词又该怎么办？

　　例如：

　　Taking a lot of time to make an important decision used to be considered as a bad quality of a person to have, but now, it is considered as a good quality of a person.

　　我们可以把题目中Taking a lot of time to make an important decision的内容归纳成一个名词: notion，由此可以展开背景句。

　　As the society moves forward, some traditionally accepted notions are increasingly being challenged. Among them is the saying that one should make an important decision carefully.
