PTE小作文高分关键在语法

　　在PTE写作中，SWT有区别于SST的两点分别是：第一，字数要求在5-75个字之间；第二，完整的一个句子。要想把这两点分拿到手，就要有扎实的语法结构基础，所以今天详细分析一下，如何将众多key elements组合成完整的一句话。

　　一句话的基本结构是：

　　1个主句+从句（1个或者多个）+插入语（1个或者多个）

　　一个完整的主语有“主语+谓语”，“主语+谓语+主补”，“主语+谓语+宾语”，“主语+谓语+宾语+宾语”，“主语+谓语+宾语+宾语补语”等五种基本结构，千万不可缺少成分，或者一句话中有两个主句。

　　从句

　　三大从句是：形容词性从句（即定语从句）；副词性从句（即状语从句）；和名词性从句（包括：主语从句，宾语从句，表语从句和同位语从句）。

　　修饰名词或代词的从句是定语从句 :

　　He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man.

　　We are all looking forward to the day when 2008 Olympic Games begin in Beijing.

　　修饰一个句子的从句是状语从句 :

　　When he was walking in the street yesterday, he met with a friend of his.

　　在句中作主语的从句叫主语从句：

　　That he came home late at night worried his parents.

　　在句中作宾语的从句叫宾语从句：

　　I don't know why he came home late at night.

　　在句中作表语的从句叫表语从句：

　　It looks as if it is going to rain.

　　在句中作同位语的从句叫同位语从句 ：

　　I have no idea why he came home late at night.

　　定语从句由关系代词或关系副词引导，关系词在从句中担当相应的句子成分，关系代词在从句中作宾语时经常可省略。同位语从句主要由连词that引导，在从句中一般不担当成分；有时也由where, when, how, who, whether, what 等连词引导，这些连词则在从句中担当成分。

　　The news that he told me is true. （定语从句）

　　他告诉我的消息是真的。

　　The news that he has just died is true.  （同位语从句）

　　他刚刚去世了，这个消息是真的。

　　插入语

　　英语中的插入语是插在句子中的一个词，短语或从句，通常被逗号、破折号或句子的其他部分隔开，它与句子的其他部分之间没有语法上的关系，因此，有的语法学家将其归为独立成分.

　　插入语在句中通常是对一句话的一些附加解释，说明或总结；有时表示说话者的态度和看法；有时起强调的作用；有时是为了引起对方的注意；还可以起转移话题或说明事由的作用；也可以承上启下,使句子与前面的语句衔接的更紧密一些.

　　插入语的类型有：

　　形容词（短语）作插入语

　　True,it would be too bad.

　　真的，太糟了。

　　副词（短语）作插入语

　　When he got there，he found，however，that the weather was too bad.

　　可是到了那儿之后他发现,那儿的天气太坏了。

　　介词短语作插入语

　　You can’t wait anymore-in other words,you should start at once.

　　你不能再等了——换言之，你得立即出发。

　　类似介词有：

　　in fact, in one’s opinion, in general, in a word, in other words, in a few words,of course,by the way, as a result, for example, on the other hand, to one’s surprise, in short

　　V-ing（短语）作插入语

　　Generally speaking, the weather there is neither too cold in winter nor too hot in summer.

　　一般来说，那儿的气候冬天不太冷，夏天不太热.。

　　不定式短语作插入语

　　To tell you the truth，I’m not so interested in the matter.

　　跟你说实话，我对这件事情的兴趣不大。
