　　1、Serendipity 因缘 [ser(ə)n'dɪpɪtɪ]

　　它来自于18世纪法国财务大臣 Etienne de Silhouette 的名字。在他担任财务大臣时，法国因为“七年战争”而陷入财务危机。他上任后厉行节俭政策，禁止铺张奢华，导致有钱人对他怨声载道，因此，富人把他的名字用作便宜货的代名词。当时，法国出现了在纸上剪出任务轮廓的肖像方法，和正常的肖像相比，这种方式便宜，因而这种便宜的肖像法就沿用了便宜货的代名词silhouette！
