什么单词替换可以提高AEIS写作分数？

　　很多同学都知道单词替换是AEIS写作的重点。听力和阅读出题基本上就是考察学生是否能够识别关键词的替换，而写作和口语考官非常注意学生是否能够灵活地替换一些表达。

　　然而很多同学并不知道雅思作文不是说什么单词替换都可以给考官留下深刻印象。有些单词不该换，有些单词换了也没用，有些单词换了才算是体现词汇量。

　　一般来说，情态动词譬如说can, should的替换考官就不在意。一些连词譬如说if, when, because重复一下也没事。

　　一些形容词替换，譬如说important, significant, integral, indispensable,vital, paramount替换起来就要很小心，因为这些词往往有程度差异、还有语境差异，机械替换会导致失分。

　　一些本身没有很多替换词的词，譬如说parents, schools, teachers, children,等等，如果学生硬是写一下不恰当的替换词，反而很别扭。

　　考官一般重视的是主题相关词汇，topic-specific vocabulary。

　　这句话要替换的词不应该是can,你是否写成be able to, increase the likelihood of,create new possibilities for都意义不大。

　　真正值得注意的是sports events, revenue这样的词是否能够灵活替换。

　　International events such as Olympics can bring cash tothe hosting country and help finance the construction of stadiums and arenas.Hospitality and some other industries can thrive with the money spent by sportsfans.

　　Countries can achieve financial gain by hosting somesporting events, especially games which attract millions of fans in the world.Part of the income can be allocated to infrastructure projects such as theconstruction of new stadiums. Businesses in hospitality and some otherindustries can profit from the goods and services provided by sports fans.

　　同样的事情，我用了不同的一些表达去描述。譬如说revenue我就用了financial gain, income, profit等替换。这些才是体现词汇量的地方。

　　有些地方替换其实不是单词的替换，而是表达的替换，譬如说industries can thrive去替换development of industries。
