PTE阅读排序题机经讲解（一）

　　很多同学在做PTE阅读的时候发现最大的问题倒并非是题目太难，而是阅读时间不够，或者阅读题目好多来不及做完，当反应过来的时候，只剩下一两分钟了。在做PTE阅读Re-order Paragraphs也就是排序题的时候，会出现四段式或者五段式排序两种状况。四段式就是2分钟的时间，而五段式则时间上限是2.5分钟。

　　A. Clearly, a number of factors have contributed to its remarkable appearance.

　　B. The result is a unique story of land collisions and erosions, and of rising and falling water levels.

　　C. Experts who have analysed the rock formations say that, historically, it goes back nearly two billion years.

　　D. Anyone who has ever visited the Grand Canyon will agree that it is one of the most incredible Sights in the world.

　　E. The geological processes that have taken place since then are exposed for everyone to see, not hidden beneath vegetation or a fast-flowing water course.

　　解题步骤

　　找到第一句

　　第一句一般比较‘独立’，内容较为概括。

　　A.itsremarkable appearance，指代前文，不能独立的作为首句。

　　B. Theresult，有前文指代的内容。

　　C. therock formations，不可做首句

　　E. Thegeological processes和 sincethen，同理

　　排后几句

　　从代词和意思入手，锁定句与句之间直接连接的部分。

　　A. its remarkable appearance，its指代the Grand Canyon，remarkable appearance 对应 incredible Sights。

　　C.  it goes back，it指the Grand Canyon；therock formations对应incredible Sights。（如果D后面是C，就无法再接A了。因为A中的its无法对应复数形式的therock formations，应该是their。因此，DCA是不对的。）

　　E. Thegeological processes对应therock formations；sincethen对应two billion years。

　　B. Theresult 对应Thegeological processes
