UKiset写作话题练习及范文讲解（一）

　　UKiset写作按照学生年龄段的不同，设置不同的写作题目。创意写作部分不会被评分，但是会与学生另外两部分成绩一起递交给学校，学校以此来评定学生的写作水平和英语语言运用能力。

　　Imagine you are working in a company that has a budget to spend on one thing to improve the employees’ work

　　1-New technology(such as computers and printers) to improve efficiency

　　2-Redesign the work space to improve working environment(such as meeting rooms)

　　公司想用一笔钱帮助员工更好工作，一种是：提高员工使用的科技设备，提高效率。

　　另一种：重新设计空间，让工作环境更舒适，有更大的开会空间，你选哪一种？

　　这道题因为涉及到了一种和另一种，所以建议写一边倒的写法。即写自己支持的那一方的好处就好了。（不建议写平衡结构）

　　开头段：

　　明智（smart）的公司始终把员工的满意度放在第一位（place the satisfaction of employees at the top of their concern list.）。员工满意的前提就是能更好的工作（premise of their satisfaction roots in how they can work better）而我觉得，这两种方式中，第一种更能帮助他们更好的工作。

　　1. more advanced technical devices will可以促进员工工作效率（boost working efficiency）。因为先进的facilities (设备)可以节省工作时间。

　　因果论证：

　　现代化的工作往往依靠各种硬件的设施（office equipment），比如：电脑，打印机，WiFi等等。好的产品会带来好的用户体验（refine users’ experience），让员工的工作更加的顺畅(smoother)。不会因为设备的问题而影响心情，也不会放大工作中的负面情绪（magnify the negative emotions even by other troubles at work）。

　　举例：

　　很多职场的人（people in the office all share the same experience complaining about poor equipment）都有过对设备抱怨的经历，比如：重要会议时连不上网(disconnecting in the middle of an important meeting)，在老旧的打印机前打着厚厚的文件却明明可以有新打印机节省一半的时间(half time could have been saved if we have the latest type of printer)，电脑卡到不能打开设计师的photoshop等等(loading forever when editing photos on photoshop)。这些虽然是小事(trifle)，却很影响员工的心情和效率。

　　2.提高员工的科技设备，从而更好的监测（monitor）他们的work performance。

　　因果论证：

　　很多公司给员工提供升级后（upgraded office appliances）的专属办公设备，升级设备中的软件(modify the software within to record the personal traces from workers)，可以记录员工的工作轨迹。

　　也可以让员工通过设备，将工作和生活分开(separate work from life and be more focused and concentrated while working)，从而在工作的时候更专注。

　　举例:

　　在我没有使用升级前的私人手机时，对于客户的回复会带有一定的个人情绪（personal emotions）。然而，更新后的设备，实时传输数据会让我保持专业的沟通状态，（the real-time transit of data regulates workers’ performance at work in order to keep their professional attitude.）
