PTE考试中所有考生都要会的阅读RO！

　　在PTE阅读考试中，RO(段落排序)题型属于非常重要的一部分，这个题型可以说在PTE阅读部分占分值很大的一道题，虽然想要在这道题上拿高分很难，但多多练习总归是可以提高PTE分数的。

　　大家在练习的时候，首先明确到RO这个题的评分方式是每正确一个对子得一分，请参考附上的Score Guide描述。

　　所以我们在明确了评分方式之后，那我们做题策略也是可以有所改变。

　　比如说这个题：例题:Earthquake

　　1)The fire， lasting four days， most likely started with broken gas lines(and， in some cases， was helped along by people hoping to collect insurance for their property-they were covered for fire， but not earthquake， damage) .

　　2)The main temblor, having a 7.7–7.9 magnitude, lasted about one minute and was the result of the rupturing of the northernmost 296 miles of the 800-mile San Andreas fault.

　　3)But when calculating destruction, the earthquake took second place to the great fire that followed.

　　4)At 5:12 a.m. on April 18. 1906. the people of San Francisco were awakened by an earthquake that would devastate the city.

　　在这个题中，并不是所有分数段的同学，都需要全对的，那么我们做题的时候，就是要抱着能配更多的对子来进行。

　　01确定首句

　　前两句开头都是特指，所以不可能是首句,第三句开头是转折，大部分情况下也不是首句,由此可以初步推断四为首句。

　　那为什么开头有特指一般就不是首句呢?首先，要明确泛指和特指的概念：a, an 是泛指;the+N.是特指;我们描述一个事情一般都是先泛指，再特指的。

　　02配对

　　回到题目中， 第四句出现了an earthquake这个泛指概念，才会具体说the main temblor.... 这个主要的地震怎么样，所以第四句和第二句配对。(temblor也是地震的意思)

　　4)At 5:12 a.m. on April 18. 1906. the people of San Francisco were awakened by an earthquake that would devastate the city.

　　2)The main temblor, having a 7.7–7.9 magnitude, lasted about one minute and was the result of the rupturing of the northernmost 296 miles of the 800-mile San Andreas fault.

　　同样，第一句出现了 the fire这个特指概念，前面一定是有一句先引出fire这个概念的。

　　总的来说，希望同学们在排序的时候先找首句，再尽可能多的配对。

　　RO是需要通过多种思路来确定的，相对来说有一点难度，但是我们掌握到如何配对子的思路之后，是能一步步减少这个题的难度系数。
