　　Actually I’ve received several pieces of clothes as birthday gifts or souvenirs from friends and families while among them, the most impressive one is a piece of Chi-pao, the one-piece dress that enjoys stunning beauty.

　　My father brought it back to me after finishing a business trip in Shanghai. The tailor there was indeed quite proficient. Judging by the measurement that my father carried, he made the dress tight-fitting and and elegant, just accentuate my figure in an impeccable way.

　　The colors of the dress are mainly navy blue and white, with a pattern in the impressionist manner and it feels quite soft and delicate when you touch the surface since the fabric only consists of silk and embroidery. Besides, the piece of Chi-pao is sleeveless so wearing it in summer is cool and refreshing. Another unique point of the dress is the slits on both sides, making the dress more agile rather than rigid.

　　This piece of Chi-pao is one of my most precious items and I have worn this fancy dress in many important occasions and I’ ll try to keep it intact over the years.

　　2，a person who dresses well(一个穿着好看的人)

　　A college friend of mine, Echo, is a girl who looks quite pretty and also dresses well. Actually many girls almost envy her because she has been a part-time graphic model for some magazines since university time and she could always put on those fancy dresses. One particular piece of them I remember is a stunning cheongsam that she wore in one new year’s gala,which I have to say, so exquisite and elegant, almost attracted every guy’s attention that night. Not to mention she is constantly the one who catches people’s eyes on streets and of course, the photographers---the street snaps also favor her smile as the focus of the camera.

　　And the reason for her nice looking is her good taste for stylish outfits. Her major is related to fashion and unlike the majority who follow the trend, she defines fashion as ‘variety’, ‘personality’ and ‘comfort’ .So being an insider in the fashion industry, Echo appreciates the clothes, picks up the one suitable but does not follow blindly.And then her nice figure and interest in dressing up make everything even easier. She can spend a couple of hours standing in front of the mirror for making up and never go out without the making up. Actually at first it was an eye opener for us friends because she could wake up an hour earlier than us everyday just to dress up.

　　3，A difficult decision made(一个困难的决定)

　　To be honest, I intended to continue my academic pursuit partly because I was reluctant to begin my career.

　　Actually, my families and I had a tough time making the decision and there were two parties in my family. My mother and I were in the same team. We thought going abroad could help me experience another culture and enlarge my views.

　　While my father and grandmother did not agree. They argued studying in a foreign country is not absolutely necessary since I can accumulate related knowledge from work experience and if anything happens during my long journey in a remote place , they cannot come to help immediately .

　　So we had our family meetings several times and even consulted many people who can offer related information including my university mentors and friends or relatives living abroad. After struggling several months with the two parties, we finally reached the consensus that I should go abroad since it would be a wiser option and benefit my future prospects more.
