托福考试中雷到想静静的词

　　话说托福考试词汇量要达到所谓八千，甚至过万等云云。这貌似对考试前用力啃过几本托福词汇书的同学面前，也不算什么大问题。殊不知用所有时间一味单纯地去扩展词汇量，也未必考场答题就十分给力。学习高频词组，注意积累熟词僻义等也是必不可少的备考内容之一。熟词僻义，就好比你平时认识的女汉子，忽然画了个美美的装，摇身变女神!没有火眼金睛还真无法认出。简直是雷到坑爹和无语，后悔没有早认识熟词的生僻含义，有木有?!

　　女汉子之一，appreciate “感激” 逆袭变女神 “欣赏，理解”

　　appreciate毫无疑问，大家都认识“感激”。学了多年英语，“谢谢”一直在说Thank you!和Thanks!有些童鞋去国外旅游忽然发现内心是崩溃的，原来歪果仁谢谢居然都在说“I appreciate it.” 所以“感激”这个含义可以有。但是这个“欣赏和理解”我们得如何欣赏和理解?

　　纳尼?! introduce someone不就是介绍某人吗!这是要闹哪样~

　　不明白的先进来普及个姿势先：“duce”这个词根表示“拉，牵引，引导”，而前缀“in”在此表示“里，内”，将外国的物种拉进国内，这个过程不就是“引进，采用”么

　　想静静的看这里：词根gage表示“承诺，协议，约定”。而en表加强含义，或者可译为“使...”。使自己承诺别人——答应，从事。这就是大家熟知的含义。雇主和雇员之协议，雇佣关系就开始了。帅哥承诺了美女一生幸福，这俩人订个婚就自然而然了。其实engage，engagement表示订婚，大家还算熟知。战场上两方对垒，将军提前要下个挑战书，回个应战书，这时间地点约定好了，才能交战.

　　那么以阅读为例：
