And there can be more such examples. Nobody could have failed to apparently notice the fact that wasting has become an increasingly grave problem in many campuses. Taking a look around, we can find examples too numerous to list: in the classroom, blank pieces of paper are left on the desks; and in the dorm building, taps are left open and water left running all the time.

　　Wasting will generate severe results if we keep ignoring it. To start with, it put strains on the already short supply of food, water, electricity and the like.
