　　今天是六一国际儿童节，小编先祝各位备考AEIS考试的大小朋友节日快乐。但是新加坡没有过儿童节的习惯，是因为新加坡的教育更注重寓教于乐，课程不紧，课外活动很丰富，天天都像在过节......现在让一起来看看新加坡孩子是怎么过暑假的吧。

　　1. Go to summer camp: This is a given and can range anywhere from a simple play camp where the staff organize games, both indoors and outdoors, all the way to specialized camps featuring woodwork classes, Star Wars-themed, Lego-themed, chess classes, football specials, and Math tutorials.

　　参加暑期夏令营：这个无需自己费力，可以让孩子参加一个由他人组织的夏令营，里面的工作人员会组织开展一些室内或者室外小游戏。在夏令营中，孩子可以参与一些有意思的特色课程，例如木工、星球大战、乐高、棋类、足球、数学等各种各样的课程。

　　1.Sleepovers: Another highlight of summers is getting to spend that precious extra few hours with a friend without thoughts of homework and projects interfering! Last year, the boys and I started a tradition of having a "mega-sleepover" every summer. I called 4 of Big A's friends, who came with their sleeping bags and Wii remotes. After a raucous dinner together, they spent an equally rowdy session up and down our house; we gave them a free-for-all that day, and it was a joy to see them giggling and shouting, roping Little a in, and raising the roof!

　　3. Have More Fun Making Dinner: Dinner with your family during the holidays is always fun, but helping get everything ready for the big meal can be a lot of fun too. You can help plan the menu, set the table, and lend a hand in the kitchen.

　　做一顿愉快的晚餐：和家人一起享受一顿假日晚餐总是充满了愉快，当然，和家人们一起准备晚餐会更有趣。孩子可以和父母一起计划晚餐的菜单，布置桌子，甚至参与到做饭的过程中去。

　　4. Working Hard for their Money:

　　Summer Jobs and Chores

　　While kids play, many teenagers will enter the workforce this summer. Thirty-five percent of parents (up from 32% in 2012) say their teens' primary source of spending money will come from a summer job.To earn their cash, teens will turn to fast food service (27%), grocery stores (16%).

　　努力赚钱：暑期兼职和家务当一些孩子还只知玩耍时，一些青少年已经开始进入了劳动市场。35%的家长表示，他们的孩子零用钱的主要来源是他们的暑期兼职。为了赚取零用钱，27%的孩子选择在快餐业打工，16%选择去杂货铺打工。
