新SAT文法：句间逻辑关系考点及练习

　　SAT语法考试中，句间逻辑词的考查也是占了很大的比重，基本每篇文章都会出至少1道题，一般一套下来大约5题，下面课窝网留这一考点提出几点应对策略，希望大家的语法能获得小突破。

　　此类型题的基本解题过程如下：

　　第一个步骤先读上下句判断同向/反向

　　第二个步骤如果是反向，直接考虑转折逻辑。

　　第三个步骤如果是同向，则考虑因果或者增补。

　　第四个步骤如果以上逻辑都不是，则考虑时间逻辑。

　　逻辑一般分为以下4类

　　转折(反向)

　　however,nevertheless,conversely,unfo-rtunately, instead，on the other hand

　　因果（同向）

　　thus, therefore, hence, consequently, thereby, hence, accordingly

　　增补（同向）

　　in addition，moreover，for example, indeed，furthermore, additionally

　　时间

　　at the same time, meanwhile, finally, previously, subsequently, eventually,

　　注意：做这种题，千万不要想太多，就看紧挨着的2句话就可以了。不要再往前看，或者再往后看了。只考虑紧挨着的2句话的逻辑关系即可。

　　例题一（201605AS Q13）

　　Italy’s Tower of Pisa has been leaning southward since the initial 12 stages of it’s construction over 800 years ago.Indeed, if the tower’s construction had not taken two centuries and involved significant breaks due to war and civil unrest, which allowed the ground beneath the tower to settle, the tower would likely have collapsed before it was completed.

　　A) NO CHANGE

　　B) Therefore,

　　C) Nevertheless,

　　D) However,

　　解析：

　　原文前一句话大概意思是比萨斜塔一直向南倾斜，后一句话大概意思是塔可能会在没完成之前就塌了，前后两句话都在说塔斜，这同一件事情，明显的同向关系，CD直接排除是反向关系，B选项therefore是因果关系，前后2句话不是因果关系，只有A，indeed表示“事实上”，相当于in fact，表示强调。

　　选A.

　　例题二：（20161001AS Q10）

　　Other agencies are working to preserve the functionality of satellite systems; they recommend that a backup system be ready to launch if necessary.Consequently,statisticians surmise that an occurrence such as the Carrington event is not likely to strike more than once in a half-millennium.

　　B) Fortunately,

　　C) Thus,

　　D) As a matter of fact,

　　解析：

　　原文前一句话的大概意思是其他的机构正在努力维护卫星系统的功能，他们建议如果有必要会发射备用系统。下一句话大概的意思是统计员猜测类似的事件再发生的概率是很低的。前一句是说可能会发射备用系统，后一句是说再发生的概率很低，暗含的意思是不用发射备用系统，那么前后2句就是反向关系，只有B选项fortunately，表示“幸运地”是反向关系，ACD都是同向关系，排除。

　　选B.

　　例题三：（20160507AS Q9）

　　The research demonstrated a clear correlation between introducing phosphates and the growth of blue-green algae. For example, legislators in Canada passed laws banning phosphates in laundry detergents, which had been entering the water supply.

　　A) NO CHANGE

　　B) Similarly,

　　C) However,

　　D) Subsequently,

　　解析：

　　原文前一句大概意思是实验证明了磷酸盐与蓝藻之间的关系，后一句大概意思是加拿大的立法者就宣布在洗涤用品中禁止添加磷酸盐，可以判断前后2句话之间，首先不是反向关系，C选项however 排除；A选项 for example往往表达的是解释说明，上下句是总分关系，不符合本句语境，排除；B选项 similarly表达相似的意思，并且是不同事物的相似点，原文上下句不存在比较关系，排除。D选项subsequently, 之后的，随后的意思，表示时间逻辑，符合原文前后发生顺序。
