托福写作高分范文讲解：第一架飞机试行

　　托福独立写作的评分细则中有一条是 “displays unity, progression and coherence.”其中coherence即文章要有连贯性，通俗点说这个词的意思可以解释为“把句子粘在一起”， 一个段落中所要阐述的观点可以从一个句子流畅地衔接到下一个句子。有了连贯性，读者or考官就能很容易地理解句子之间或者是段落之间的逻辑关系，以及你想要表达的思想。

　　阅读：不是

　　1. 只有一些报纸上手画的图片来证明，没有照片，不可信；

　　2. 飞机只有一对机翼，但是当时因为技术落后，需要很多对机翼才能飞起来；

　　3. 飞机引擎engine不行。

　　听力：是

　　1. 当时摄影技术不行，而且是在早上试飞的，飞行速度又快，照片质量不好，才用手画；

　　2. 可以飞，科学家按照当时的设计图建造飞机，测试几次都成功了；

　　3. 那是因为当时的技术不好，而且有人买就说明引擎是可以用的。

　　写作范文

　　The reading passage lists three lines of evidence to prove that it is not the Wright Brothers who made a successful trial flight of the first airplane Whitehead, while the listening passage does not agrees at all.

　　First of all, the reading passage states that the trial flight is unconvincing because it can only be seen in hand-drawn pictures on some newspapers, and no photographs can be provided.Yet the listening passage claims that the photographic technique at that time was poor and the test was launched in the morning. In addition, the speed of flight was too fast to take a clear photo. For these reasons above, newspapers used the hand-painted pictures.

　　Second, the reading passage puts forward that the airplane had only one pair of wings, but many pairs of wings were needed for the airplane to take off due to poor technology at that time.The listening passage believes the airplane could fly and gives an example. Some scientists have built planes based on the original design and these planes took off successfully.

　　At last, the reading emphasizes that the airplane’s engine did not work well.But the listening passage indicates that such phenomenon was caused by the low level of technology. What’s more, there were people who brought this kind of airplane, which means that the engine was workable.
