PTE学习：FIB题型机经讲解（一）

　　PTE考试题型中FIB是一种综合技能题型，测试考生在学术环境中的听力和写作技能，考察目的在于对单词发音的熟悉程度和正确拼写。屏幕上显示一段录音文本，一边听录音、一 边将所缺少的单词输入文本里的空格。需要你根据所听到的句子填写出题目中所缺少的单词。

　　例题解析

　　第一步：分析选项词性

　　我们在看到选项的时候，需要迅速地判断词性的信息。一个词语拥有的信息大致有以下的三点：词性，单复数/时态，是否可数。

　　形容词：similar, fiscal, diverse, financial

　　动词：substantiated, inherent

　　名词：globalisation, business

　　第二步：分析填空所需词性

　　It is true that _______ initsmany formsconnectsdiverse cultures…

　　这里我们需要的肯定是一个名词（that从句中的主语）。进一步来说，当看到后文的its和connects的时候，我们会知道这里的主语应该是单数/不可数的形态。

　　but the recent collapse of _______marketsworldwide…

　　这里我们需要的是一个形容词，修饰怎样的markets。

　　the deregulation of labour laws in countriesas_______asthe US, Mexico, and Indonesia…

　　这里as … as 是一个非常常见的比较用语（比如说as long as, as far as），当中需要的是一个形容词。

　　theinequalityanddangers_______ in such a global connectivity network…

　　这里的inequality和dangers都是名词，因此在介词前的内容只能是动词。另外，由于句子前后没有给出任何时间相关的词语，所以我们会知道这里只能是动词的现在时。进一步分析，因为主语有两个词语（其中dangers以s结尾，是复数），所以从单复数来说，必须是动词原形。
