　　本句中It 是形式主语

　　例：

　　It seems to be true that he is a student

　　他好像是个学生

　　分析：

　　It （形式主语）

　　seems （系动词）

　　to be true（表语）

　　that he is a student（真正主语-主语从句）

　　也可以这样说：

　　It seems that he is a student

　　分析：

　　It（主语）

　　seems（系动词）

　　that he is a student（表语从句）

　　=He seems to be a student.

　　其实无关紧要, 只要知道这个句型就是.有些语法书上说这个It 是个无意义的“功能词汇”, 有它“没意义”, 无它又不成句.
