丘成桐中学科学奖(化学)面向全球华人中学生,舍弃试卷和标准答案,让学生以提交研究报告的形式参与竞赛。此举旨在推进中学化学科学的发展,激发和提升全球华人中学生对化学研究的兴趣和创新能力,发现和培养有前途的年轻化学天才,帮助他们更好地适应未来社会的挑战。哈佛大学、普林斯顿大学、清华大学等国内外知名学府及大师们的关注,将为国内外华人中学生提供化学领域全新的舞台和机会。
赛区划分
化学奖分北部赛区、南部赛区。每支参赛队伍按照其所在中学的地理位置,归属于某个分赛区。
北部赛区
北京/河北/天津/山西/山东/内蒙古/新疆/黑龙江/吉林/辽宁/河南/陕西/宁夏/甘肃/青海。
南部赛区
浙江/江苏/上海/广东/广西/海南/四川/湖南/湖北/贵州/云南/西藏/重庆/福建/江西/安徽。
总决赛奖项设置
总决赛奖包括获奖证书和奖励金
金奖
金奖1名,每队奖励15万元(人民币)
银奖
银奖1名,每队奖励10万元(人民币)
铜奖
铜奖3名,每队奖励6万元(人民币)
优胜
优胜奖5名,每队奖励3万元(人民币)
根据论文提交情况,以上奖项可空缺或增减。
总决赛奖金的分配原则:国内赛区总决赛各项奖项的奖金由参赛团队中的学生和指导老师共享。指导老师可获得奖金的20%,余下的80%奖金由所在团队的参赛学生获得。
